Itinerary

Full Day:Marrakech-Ouzoud Waterfalls-Marrakech

Start your journey by being picked up in the morning from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Then, head 93 miles (150 kilometers) north of Marrakech to one of the most magnificent waterfalls in North Africa. Savor expansive vistas of Morocco’s breathtaking rural landscape as you travel.

Admire the stunning waterfalls that plunge 360 feet (110 meters) into the glistening lake below as soon as you arrive in the town of Ouzoud. Trace your path toward an argan oil cooperative via lush olive tree groves, accompanied by your local guide (optional). Learn a great deal about Berber customs and culture here. Explore the hiking paths after that. There is a lookout where you can get fresh orange juice.

After that, enjoy a leisurely ride in a traditional boat in the pool at the base of the waterfalls (optional). Admire the tumbling waves above from your elevated spot on the lake, and explore the natural caverns tucked away in the rock face. After that, you could have a delectable Berber lunch at a nearby eatery with a view of the falls (optional).

You will get an additional 20 minutes of free time to explore the gift shops, snap photographs, and take in the scenery. Ascend the stairs once again to reach your car in the middle of the day so you can return to Marrakech.
