Day trip to Ourika Valley

Arrival at your lodging in Marrakech, After being picked up from your Marrakech hotel or riad, settle into your cozy, air-conditioned minibus and travel into the High Atlas Mountains’ foothills. As you go, take in the breathtaking vistas of the powerful peaks rising from the plains. Our first visit of the day is at a local argan oil cooperative as we reach the beautiful Ourika Valley, a place where traditional local culture is flourishing. See how the native argan tree’s kernels are extracted into priceless argan oil by the Berber ladies of this area.

climb to the Siti Fatma Waterfalls: Proceed to the town of Setti Fatma, where our 1.5-hour climb to the waterfalls begins. Accompany your guide on a difficult trek that crosses many small bridges while you take in the views of seven gorgeous waterfalls cascading down the rocks. On the trek, you are free to go at your own speed, take your time taking in the view, and, of course, ask any questions you may have.
Optional Traditional Berber meal: After the climb, stop for a drink to refresh yourself, and then proceed to a family’s house for an optional traditional Berber meal of fresh fruit, salad, and tajine.
Finish your tour: Return to your Marrakech lodging at around 5:00 p.m., when your trip will come to a close.
