We start our 2-day Morocco itinerary after meeting you either at the airport or at your accommodation in Er-Rachidia. We head forward into the impressive Sahara Desert. On the road, we stop by a mesmerizing panorama of Ziz Valley, a piece of art and a river with plenty of palm trees. Not to forget to enjoy some photographs. Additionally, we drive through lots of Berber villages along the river.

We arrive in Erfoud; we see some date varieties because the city offers an annual date festival every year in October. Thereafter, we follow the route to the Erg Chebbi dunes, meet your camel guide, live an exciting moment, enjoy the atmosphere of the sunset, and experience a sandboard. Later, the road takes us directly to a desert camp. Relax, then get ready for the night’s show, music, stories, and laughs under the stars.

For the following journey of desert discovery, it would be better if you woke up early to catch a fabulous sunrise. Have your breakfast and get ready to start the desert adventure. We leave the camp and visit a nomadic family, have a cup of tea, and learn about their lifestyle. Next, we move to an abandoned village where we can still see how the locals used to work with a Galena mineral. Besides, our desert experience takes us to Khamlia village, a lively place that brings the deep sounds of the desert; we join a Gnaoua performance, dance, learn culture, and have a great time in the desert.

In the afternoon, we tour through Rissani, there is a traditional market that is held three days a week: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Stroll along the market and uncover how people come from the other villages to exchange their goods and shop once a week.

The next and last thing to do is visit a big marble-fossilized workshop in Erfoud, and we drive straight on to Errachidia, where we finish our Morocco desert excursion.
