ITINERARY : 7 DAYS IN MOROCCO ITINERARY FROM TANGIER

MOROCCO TOUR FROM TANGIER 7 DAYS

DAY 1:TANGIER - CHEFCHAOUEN.

Today is the first day of our 7 days Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech via the Merzouga Desert. We greet you warmly in Morocco when we meet you at the airport, port, or your hotel. We begin our unforgettable Morocco tour with a picturesque drive to Tangier’s essential and attractive landmarks, including the spectacular Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel. Furthermore, we travel across the Rif Mountains and make pauses to photograph the breathtaking Moroccan scenery.

In addition, we visit the gorgeous Chefchaouen, often known as “the blue pearl.” As you walk through its colorful lanes and painted homes, the delightful small city will unveil itself to you. These elements give the city a distinct image and make it a popular place for photographers to pursue their interests. After seeing this magnificent town in the evening, we will transfer you to your riad for a pleasant stay.

DAY 2:CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - FES.

Today, we make sure all is done with the beautiful Chefchaouen and leave through the outstanding Berber-Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers superlative knowledge and a walk around the archaeological area. Our discovery journey takes us to the fascinating Moulay Ismail Capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities called Meknes. While we are in Meknes, we visit the famous Bab Mansour and enjoy its history and stunning Berber architecture. Next, we see Qara Jail and the Sahrij Souani, as well as the museums that the city offers. Finally, your riad drops us off at the end of our journey in Fes.

DAY 3:EXPLORING FES WITH LOCAL GUIDE.

We meet our local guide, see the royal palace’s golden gate, and then proceed to the beautiful blue gate, also known as Bab Boujloud, the major entry to the city’s ancient quarter. Fes el Bali has many amazing locations to visit and learn about history and culture. Enjoy and exploring Morocco’s small lanes. In addition, we visit “Al Bouanania” School, “Tanneries,” and the “Najjarine Fountain,” as well as the world’s oldest institution, “Al Qarawiyyin University.” Furthermore, we tour the Jewish area, or “Mellah,” and learn about the Jewish community’s life in Morocco. Our drive ends with a wonderful panoramic view and a drop-off at the Riad.

Day 4FES - IFRANE - AZROU - MIDELT - ZIZ VALLEY - MERZOUGA DESERT.

Commencing our Morocco Desert safari with a pick-up from your Fes lodging and a magnificent drive over the Middle Atlas Mountains to Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco due to its perfect natural surroundings and rosy outlook of our country. Following that, we go to Azrou’s cedar forest, where we pause briefly to observe wild macaques. In addition, we will visit Midelt, known as the “Apple Capital,” where we may enjoy a fantastic lunch.

Additionally, we travel through the Tizi N Talghemt tunnel to view the spectacular Ziz Valley scenery. We would be able to take shots of the breathtaking countryside and palm tree groves. Furthermore, we visit Erfoud, which hosts the annual Dattes festival in October. As a result, you can learn more about the Dattes variation that the palm trees produce each year.
After leaving Erfoud, we drive off-road through the stunning and vast Sahara Desert. Our camel guy guide will be ready to provide us an unforgettable camel ride experience. Furthermore, we can stop at a large sand dune to see a beautiful sunset before heading to the camp, where we will eat a delicious dinner and chat with the locals while listening to Berber music around the campfire beneath the stars.

DAY 5:MERZOUGA EXPLORATION.

During the second day in the wide Sahara Desert, we recommend getting up early to catch a beautiful sunrise. Our exploratory excursion begins after breakfast, as we travel through the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes. We stop by a nomadic family to enjoy some tea and learn about their lifestyle and history. We continue to an abandoned settlement where inhabitants used to work the Galena mine before stopping at a breathtaking panoramic vista of the sand dunes. In addition, we will visit Khamlia village. We meet new people, cultures, and music genres that are unique and diverse.

We try Berber pizza for lunch. Before driving to the Merzouga palm orchards, we investigate an antique irrigation system that residents still use to water their plants. In the late afternoon, you can try other activities such as quad, buggy, or horseback riding, as well as watch a beautiful sunset before returning to the hotel.

DAY 6:MERZOUGA DESERT - RISSANI - ERFOUD - TODRA GORGES - DADES VALLEY.

On the sixth day of our Morocco Desert Tour, you can get up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and a delicious breakfast. On this new excursion, we drive to Rissani to explore the traditional market, which is held every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. In addition, we pass through Erfoud, where we stop momentarily to learn about fossils before continuing to Dades Valley via El Jorf “Khotarat,” where we see how the old irrigation system works. Furthermore, the road leads us to the stunning Todra Gorges, a popular climbing destination where you can enjoy the spectacular scenery while strolling along the river.

Furthermore, we continue our gorgeous journey through Dades Valley, passing by an incredible panoramic view noted for “Monkey Fingers,” before heading to our hotel for supper and an overnight stay.

DAY 7:DADES VALLEY - KALAAT MEGOUNA - SKOURA - OUARZAZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH - HIGHT ATLAS MOUNTAIN - MARRAKECH.

The enjoyable Morocco Journey begins after a delicious breakfast at your lodging. Enjoy a beautiful journey among old villages and waterways. We arrive at Roses Valley, where we visit one of the best and most well-known rose cooperatives. We witness and learn how ladies produce rose items at the city’s annual festival in May.

We continue driving, passing past Skoura’s palm tree groves. Discover the beautiful Berber architecture of Ouarzazate, including a visit to Taourirt Kasbah and a brief stop at the Atlas Studios.

After touring all of these wonderful sights, enjoying the views, and learning about history, we drove to the lovely Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is regarded as one of Morocco’s best-preserved Kasbahs, and has used as the backdrop for several films and television programs, including Game of Thrones, The Gladiator, and The Mummy.

In the afternoon, we travel to the High Atlas Mountains, a breathtaking and unique location for photography. Enjoy the grandeur of the nature at Tizi-N-Tichka Pass. Before arriving in Marrakech, we observe ladies creating argan oil items at an argan cooperative.
